We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Logistics Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business development in the logistics, shipping, and supply chain sectors. You will be key to expanding our customer base, fostering long-term relationships with clients, and offering customized logistics solutions for various businesses.
As a Logistics Sales Executive, you will manage end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting to closing deals, while ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development: Identify and target potential customers, building a strong pipeline of leads in the logistics, freight, and shipping industry.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their logistics needs and offering tailored solutions.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct product/service presentations to prospective clients and manage negotiations to close contracts effectively.
Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
Quote Preparation & Pricing: Prepare cost estimates, negotiate pricing with clients, and ensure profitability while meeting customer expectations.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations, customs clearance, and other internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of client orders.
Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Relevant certifications in logistics or sales are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics sales or freight forwarding. Experience in international shipping, air freight, ocean freight, or customs clearance is highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the logistics, supply chain, and freight forwarding industries, including shipping documentation, international trade regulations, and customs processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business relationships.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions that meet client needs and business goals.
Customer-Oriented: Highly customer-focused, with a proactive attitude towards addressing client needs and concerns.
Tech-Savvy: Familiar with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and logistics management tools
